Standing on a Bus Stop

Date: 29-30 September 2009

Standing on a bus stop
am waiting for my bus
There's lot of faces arround here
And lots of them I Know
But nor do they know me
Neither do I care.
I am last in line
And my bus has little time.
Oh! nor could I board it
Niether does it care.
my bus has little time
And I am last in line.

Standing on a bus stop
Waiting for my bus.
There are many new faces
May be some of them i will know of.
but surely nor anyone will know me
Neither do i really care.
And my bus has little time
So, I am pushed back in line.
Yet nor could i board it
neither does it care.
My bus has Little Time
And I am left last in line.

Standing on a bus stop
Waiting for my bus.
Seldom does it happens
Only once in a while.
There are no other faces
My prospects brightly show.
But my bus has little time
And skips my stop this very time.
Nor could I board it
Neither does it care.
My bus has little time
And i am left alone in line.

Standing on a bus stop
Waiting for my bus.
There are faces thinking they know
Suggesting other ways to go.
But i have only one place to go
My bus is the only way I know.
And my bus has little time
I am last in line.
Waiting for my bus
Standing on a bus stop.

Let us smile today

Date: arround 15th November 2009

Let us smile today
for we may not get a chance tomorrow
Oh! Let us smile on our own follies
make our own selves more venerable
Oh! Let us not live for tomorrow
Living the day only for today.
Let us smile on ourselves today.

Let us smile today
for we may not get a chance tomorrow.
Oh! Let us bury all the worthy worries.
for they not ever worry about us.
Oh! Let us do what we always wanted
and think not what others' think, today.
Let us smile for ourselves today.

Let us smile today
for we may not get a chance tomorrow
Oh! let us smile on our shining shackles,
make free of prejudices, origins and births.
Oh! Let us live with those we love
for love never lets you down.
Let us smile today.

Call Me A Fool

Date: March 2009

Call me a fool
Surely you can
But given a chance
I'll do it again.

Call me a fool
Surely you can
But given a chance
I'll love you again.

Maybe you think
Its a mistake
But whatever the blame
All I am ready to take.

Call me a fool
For thinking of you
but, you are behind
Every good thing i do.

Call me a fool
For loving so much
But, there's no life
Sans you as such

Call me a fool
Surely you can
But, give me a chance
To be your man.

Call me a fool
Surely you can
But given a chance
I'll love you again.

If You Ask

.

Date : Around Jan-Feb, 2009

Baby if you ask
What do I want
I have an Answer
Its You
You
Only You

Baby if you ask
Can we have a dance
I have an Answer
Lets have two
Lets have two

For You
You
Only You

Baby if you ask
Will I come to you
I have an Answer
Knocking at your doors
Knocking at your doors

Baby if you ask
Will I go out
I have an Answer
Step in the car
Step in the car

For You
You
Only You

Baby if you ask
What do I want
I have an Answer
You
You
Only You
Baby if you ask

Also gave music to this piece... sang in class, but you know how musically challenged I am. Please post your comments. Waiting for your reads...

It is here

.

Date: Around Jan/Feb 2009

Why I feel so dumb and futile
If you don't heed me for a while
Why does the universe conspire
Which before had no measure
to become so small as ever
and so pretty as it was never
Why is it trying to be you
Moving, laughing, smiling like you
Why is it nothing else I see
Neither morn nor the Sun setting at sea
I don't have my prayers for me
They are your, as was destined to be

I feel so dumb and futile
If you don't heed me for a while
I suspect it is here
And I suspect it is true.

Invictus by William Ernest Henley

A very inspiring poem...

Out of the night that covers me,

Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbow'd.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:

I am the captain of my soul
