Don't know how
I will survive
This distance now
In the world so nice

I am so alone
So not sane
And I am done.
In this lane

All I want now
Is all your doubt
And all your sorrow
Allow me some clout

Want all your tears
And all your fears
All your reservations
And any apprehensions.

I don't want you
to have Any thing
That gives you
Even a small sting

You are far too good
Than I ever would
You have all
All that I have

Nothing but death

Nothing but death
Will move me
I am an adamant
Son of angels
You laugh
You scorn
You pity
But not love
I desire

So I die today
But I have been dead
For like nine nocturnal years
Is what I desire
Some say-
a true love's kiss,
Is all I need
Are they true...

Indian Dolls on sale reminded me of the stories my grandmother used to tell us as kids. Perhaps one of the  greatest joys of my life. The above poetry came out of from there.

Even This Will Pass Away

One of my favourites of all time...

Once in Persia reigned a king,
Who upon a signet ring
Carved a maxim strange and wise,
When held before his eyes,
Gave him counsel at a glance,
Fit for every change and chance:
Solemn words, and these were they:

Trains, of camel through the sand
Brought him gems from Samarcand;
Fleets of galleys over the seas
Brought him pearls to rival these,
But he counted little gain,
Treasures of the mine or main;
'What is wealth?' the king would say

'Mid the pleasures of his court
At the zenith of their sport,
When the palms of all his guests
Burned with clapping at his jests,
Seated midst the figs and wine,
Said the king: 'Ah, friends of mine,'
Pleasure comes but not to stay,

Woman, fairest ever seen
Was the bride he crowned as queen,
Pillowed on the marriage-bed
Whispering to his soul, he said
"Though no monarch ever pressed
Fairer bosom to his breast,
Mortal flesh is only clay!

Fighting on the furious field,
Once a javelin pierced his shield,
Soldiers with a loud lament
Bore him bleeding to his tortured side,
'Pain is hard to bear," he cried,
But with patience, day by day,

Towering in a public square
Forty cubits in the air,
And the king disguised, unknown,
Gazed upon his sculptured name,
And he pondered, "What is fame?'
Fame is but a slow decay!

Struck with palsy, sore and old,
Waiting at the gates of gold,
Said he with his dying breath
'Life is done, but what is Death?"
Then as answer to the king
Fell a sunbeam on his ring;
Showing by a heavenly ray,

Not a wayward

Another song... Give a read n share your thoughts...

Not a wayward
To come n' go
Baby I'm here
Not to go

Not a wayward
To come n' go

Not a wayward
To come n' go

In this life
Or the other
I tell my honey
Ain't  to bother
Honey Honey Honey
We are together

Not a wayward
To come n' go

Not a wayward
To come n' go

I'm here
for night n' morrow
Times of fun
of all the sorrow

Not a wayward
To come n' go

Not a wayward
To come n' go

My honey tells me
Words melt like ice
Will you love me
When I ain't look nice

Not a wayward
To come n' go

Not a wayward
To come n' go

I tell my honey
It Ain't matter
How you Look
or  you Cook
You should not ponder
Me ain't goin any yonder.

Not a wayward
To come n' go

Not a wayward
To come n' go
Baby I'm here
Not to go
Baby I'm here
Not to go

Not to go...

Dead man walking

Winds are heavy and dark
My soul is cold and stark
My banners all wet from snow
But the dead man is walking

Chills piercing through the bark
Rigid roots to board the Ark
My intrepid love is all i vow
So the dead man is walking.

Living is without any lark
Death is without any mark
My arrow is out of the bow
And the dead man is walking.

Self loathing

They said I was craven
They said I was weak
Probably they are true
Success did you ever brew.

Small things lil by lil
Failures compounding ill
Now I am far
An empty jar.

Difference vast like oceans
Lack of any naive notions
Without my only merry maid
A princess' dreams you can't  wade.

Race it was and hare rightly won
Walking tortoise is all but gone
Ain't it only true and just
Loose you should and must.

Should you make all gone even
But you are odd and there is even
Likes adhere, opposites repel
And you must go drown in well.

Thoughts leave me blank
No one guards my flank
I am midst of a battle
I can but not even rattle.

Words leave me mute
No tunes in my lute
I am in front  of Clay
For me I can't even pray.

Life leaves me dead
No hope it is said
I am in front of destiny
How I can but contain infinity.
